Our luxurious riverside apartment covers just over 1,000 square feet and can sleep up to four people. It has an airy, open plan kitchen, living room and dining area, two bedrooms with super king size beds, one of which can be converted to a twin if preferred, and two bathrooms. A generously proportioned balcony allows you to sit out and savour the view down river, over the ancient Stramongate Bridge and towards Kendal Castle.

The view is incredible. And it's also the only time I've ever been stunned at the loveliness of an apartment. The pictures just don't do it justice.

    The accommodation is very private, but the owners live in the town and are available to help should you need.
