Our accommodation is in the heart of the
market town of Kendal, often referred
to as the 'Gateway to the Lakes'. Getting here is easy, whatever
method of transport you choose to take.
By road
If travelling from the south, leave
the M6 motorway at Junction 36 and follow signs for Kendal. If travelling
from the north, leave the M6 at Junction 38 and follow the A6 over
Shap and on towards Kendal.
By rail
Kendal is just two miles from the mainline railway station of Oxenholme
the Lake District. From here you can take a taxi into Kendal or
change trains onto the Oxenholme - Windermere branch line which
stops at Kendal Station, just a few minutes walk from our accommodation.
By air
Our nearest international airport is Manchester Airport (MAN). Train
services are available directly from the airport's railway station
or you can travel by private hire car or your own car or a rental
car.
